• Designated safety officer of the ship, responsible for compliance with safety procedures marine pollution prevention regulations (MARPOL). Received enterprise wide recognition & “Safety Award” for the same.
• Saved US$38,000 in Bunker Operation by identifying inaccuracies in oil measurement procedures & re-engineering the process to improve storage, oil transfer and bunker negotiations.
• Proposed new inventory norms for critical spares and consumables to reduce operating costs and saved US$10,000 in two quarters on the vessel “M.T. Ohio”, was further proposed as best practice in the company.
• Reduced Fuel Wastage by 12% after evaluating plant performance & identifying opportunities of recycling oil, and performing premature Planned Maintenance Schedules on the vessel “M.T. Guadalupe”.
• SPOC for coordinating vetting inspection for various fortune 500 oil companies like Chevron, Shell, and BP.
• Implemented the “Green Ships”, and the “Safety Management System”, two enterprise wide initiative to enhance safety and environment protection consciousness on the vessel “M.T. Amazon”.
